"Boukman Eksperyans - unplugged." - March 9, 2014

Northeast Second Avenue Partnership (NE2P) and the Little Haiti Cultural Center will be hosting the second installment of
"Sounds of Little Haiti featuring Boukman Eksperyans - unplugged". Sounds of Little Haiti is an intimate look into legendary
musicians across the Caribbean. Audiences have an opportunity to hear the stories behind the music. They get an in-depth
look into the rhythms that inspired their favorite bands.

The Sounds of Little Haiti Series proceeds benefit programming at the Little Haiti Cultural Center and furthers the mission of
Northeast Second Avenue Partnership (NE2P) to showcase and promote Little Haiti as a cultural destination. This event will
be held inside the Little Haiti Cultural Center‘s theater located at 260 NE 59th Ter, Miami, FL 33137 from 6PM to 10 PM.
Comedian Jacques Bourjolly “Kako” will hosting. Kako’s presence is sponsored by Digicel.

Boukman Ekseryans music is a fusion of traditional Haitian and Caribbean rhythms with rock and reggae. Their Grammy
nominated debut album, Voudou Adjae, brought them to international fame. The Little Haiti Cultural Center’s Manager,
Sandy Dorsainvil said “We are extremely proud to have a legendary band such as Boukman Eksperyans perform at fundraising
event benefiting the Centers Senior’s program.” Tickets for the event will be on sale Friday, February 21 and are $20 in advance
and $25 at the door. They are available for purchase at Mazi Sound, Mizik Depot and the Little Haiti Cultural Center.

"COMMISSIONER MICHEL SPENCE" - October 5th, 2011

On October 5th, 2011 Northeast Second Avenue Partnership (NE2P) held an intimate reception in honor of Commissioner Michelle
Spence Jone's reinstatement to office. The event held at Sant La was attended by Haitian community leaders and elected officials.
Notable speakers include Gepsie Metullus of Sant La, Marleine Bastein of FANM, North Miami Mayor Andre Pierre and Commissioner
Jean Monestime who each praised Spence Jones for her work in District 5 and tennacity to overcome her recent challenges.

"MOVING LIVES OF KIDS (MLK)" - June 2010

Northeast Second Avenue Partnership (NE2P) partnered up with the Moving Lives of Kids (MLK) community mural project in June 2010.
MLK is a international nonprofit organization that aims to transform communities through artwork. This partnership allows for NE2P
to support a beautification project of a community mural at the little Haiti soccer park that will have a long term impact in
the community. NE2P assisted in soliciting volunteers and donations for materials needed for the mural. Click below to
